We are currently seeking an experienced & talented Small Engine Mechanic to join our dynamic team.

Task & Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, systems, and small automotive vehicles, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
  • Disassemble and inspect engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other mechanical parts to identify wear, damage, or defects. Make necessary repairs or replacements using service manuals and technical guidelines, then carefully reassemble all components to meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Assemble small engines and mechanical components according to specifications and technical standards.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and examinations to identify and resolve functionality problems in engines and machinery.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for regular servicing and equipment upgrades.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and service activities to ensure accurate tracking and compliance.
  • Provide expert consultation on maintenance procedures and preventative measures to equipment and vehicle users to promote longevity and safety.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to complete tasks effectively and efficiently. 
Qualification & Experience
  • Preferred certification from a vocational or trade school, or relevant training/experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment, mechanical systems, and basic mechanic’s tools.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to diagnostics and fault-finding.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physically and mentally fit, with the ability to work independently, organise tasks, and manage time effectively.
