Snr UG Mining Engineer - Gold

Our client is a growing ASX-listed gold producer with multiple open-pit operations and an active exploration program. With strong financial backing and a solid track record of performance, this is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking team that values input, innovation, and development.
 
Reports to: Technical Services Manager
 
Duties:

• Capable in delivering three monthly schedules
• Has experience in developing plans for Jumbos (LPA's, Mis, etc) 
• Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and project planning
• Mentor junior engineers and graduate team members - when needed 
• Engage in pit optimisation, haulage strategy and waste dump design
• Ensure all engineering activities meet statutory and company safety requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Mining Engineering or similar
• 5+ years in open pit hard rock mining (gold preferred)
• Experience with Deswik, Surpac, or similar packages
• Excellent communication and leadership qualities
• Must have full Australian rights
