About the RoleAs our Social Media Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for bringing the Lane’s BBQ brand to life across all major social platforms. You’ll work closely with our marketing and design teams to plan, create, and publish engaging content that tells our story, showcases our products, and grows our online community. You’ll also play a key role in customer service — responding to customer messages, comments, and inquiries across platforms to ensure every interaction with Lane’s is a positive one.
This role is perfect for someone who’s ready to help build on our strong foundation and drive continued growth across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:Creating social media content that reflects our brand voice and engages our audience
Scheduling and publishing content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other digital platforms
Coordinating and scheduling email marketing campaigns (EDMs) using tools like Klaviyo
Working with the marketing and design teams to plan social campaigns and content calendars
Writing engaging, on-brand captions and responding to comments, DMs, and questions
Handling customer service queries via social media and email — providing helpful, friendly responses
Staying across social trends, memes, and platform updates to keep our content fresh and fun
1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or customer engagement (eCommerce or food industry experience a bonus)
A good grasp of social platforms, trends, and community engagement strategies
Strong writing skills with a warm, witty, and brand-aligned voice
Familiarity with email marketing tools like Klaviyo
A customer-first attitude with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Highly organised with great attention to detail and time management
A collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for flavour and storytelling
Bonus: Basic video editing skills using CapCut or similar apps (not required)
