About The Role
Concord Centre for Mental Health is committed to improving mental health for people and our communities by providing quality mental health services in partnership with consumers, families and service providers by providing quality healthcare, delivery of safe appropriate care, ensuring access to services, supporting our workforce, and working closely with the local community to manage the changing demand for services.
The Level 4 Student Unit Educator is responsible for the coordination of all clinical placements (Social Work) across the Department and liaising with relevant universities and education providers. The role involves direct supervision of Social Work students as well as providing support to other staff in the department who are supervising students. The Level 4 Student Unit Educator also carries a negotiated clinical caseload and provides clinical supervision to allocated staff.

Ideal Candidate
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.Demonstrated advanced relevant clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Social Work including psychosocial assessments, counselling and therapy interventions, case management and advocacy across a range of clinical areas in a health setting.
