Software Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a full-time experienced Software Engineer. The role will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in a web application. This includes the following:

• Understand and achieve balance between solutions delivery, innovation and what’s right the client by understanding the business vision and helping make appropriate technology choices;
• Refine, design and deliver product requirements;
• Build tools and frameworks that can be largely used by the broader design and engineering teams
• Liaise and work with product, and other technology and delivery teams to deliver high quality software solutions
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects proactively ensuring the application evolves and is increasingly robust.
• Create new and extend existing operational documentation to ensure there is a current up to date record of the latest version of the solutions
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
• Writing and implementing efficient code

Education – Bachelor degree or higher qualification in relevant field. Industry experience may substitute. Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer
