Solar Sales Representative

The Opportunity

Seeking a driven and passionate Solar Sales Representative to join the dynamic team at City to Surf Solar in Geelong, VIC. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's innovative solar energy solutions to residential, commercial and off-grid customers in the local area.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to potential customers to generate new sales opportunities

• Conduct in-person consultations to understand customer needs and recommend tailored solar solutions

• Prepare detailed proposals and quotes for customers

• Negotiate and close sales while providing an exceptional customer experience

• Stay up-to-date with the latest solar technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings

• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure a seamless customer journey

• Maintain accurate records and reporting on sales activity and pipeline

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the renewable energy or home improvement industry

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to understand customer needs

• Passion for renewable energy and a desire to contribute to a sustainable future

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the local area
