Specialised Gardener casual basis 2/3 days a week with potential to permanent part-time or full-time role.

Francesco Fine Gardens is seeking Specialised Gardener/ Horticulturist to join our dedicated team.

We are looking for someone happy to start working with us on a casual basis with the potential to soon be employed part-time or full time on a permanent basis.

About Us: Established in 2021, Francesco Fine Gardens is a gardening and soft landscaping company servicing the Melbourne Inner suburbs.

We offer a tailor-made gardening service to high-end residential properties.

Our philosophy is focused on quality and care, we differ from many gardening companies because we don’t rush from one job to another in one workday.

We prefer to work with a comprehensive approach in one/two gardens maximum a day.

We also take pride in the relationship with our clients: we talk to them openly and honestly, we listen to their concerns and ideas and we suggest improvement and actions to achieve the best care for a healthy and beautiful garden.

Being presentable, professional and personable is of great importance to us and our clients.

We offer a salary according to current Award however the hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and skills.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform routine garden maintenance tasks, including pruning, weeding, lawn mowing, hedging,mulching, fertilizing, pressure washing.
• Monitor plant health and address any issues promptly.
• Operate and maintain gardening equipment.
• Assist with irrigation system checks and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.

Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in garden maintenance and soft landscaping.
• Certificate III in Horticulture preferred however not essential.
• Knowledge of plant care, pest control, and soil health.
• Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• A valid Driver’s Licence essential.
