About The Role
Join us as an Infrastructure Specialist (Core Services Specialist) and play a key role in managing and supporting CoM's core platforms. In this role you will handle the lifecycle of critical infrastructure systems, providing second and third-level technical support, and ensuring seamless service delivery across on-premises, AWS, and Azure/M365 environments. From system design and upgrades to daily operations, you'll maintain smooth infrastructure performance, ensure continuous access to corporate systems, and uphold security standards in line with CoM’s policies.

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For - Management and support of core infrastructure systems.
- Lifecycle management of infrastructure solutions from their introduction through to retirement.
- Provide second and third level technical support services, ensuring response times are within agreed service levels.
- Implement and monitor security controls for infrastructure systems.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures in relation to CoM hardware and software infrastructure.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- A relevant tertiary qualification, industry qualifications, or equivalent experience
- Experience managing large, complex Infrastructure Systems, including; Microsoft Server Platforms and Ecosystem
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, VMWare vSphere 8.x, NetApp SAN Management, Cloud Services (both AWS & Azure)
- Microsoft 365 management (e.g. Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Teams, OneDrive…)
- Enterprise Backup and Recovery (Commvault/Metallic)
- Microsoft Exchange (on premises and Cloud)
- Disaster Recovery planning, designing, and testing
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code products: Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with PowerShell
- Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. VPN, DNS, load balancing)
- Experience in security best practices and securing on-premises, AWS, Azure, or Microsoft 365 environments
- ITIL Foundation certification or demonstrated experience working in a service management environment
- Demonstrated experience managing lifecycle processes (i.e. design, build, and maintenance activities) in a comparable environment
- Demonstrated experience in producing technical documentation including build/as-built documentation and process maps.
