As a Speech Pathologist, you will be based at their clinic in Gosford and providing assessment and therapy to both pediatric and adult clients. With a varied clinical caseload that is disability-focused, you'll be addressing a wide range of communication disorders, including ASD, GDD, ADHD, fluency, language, and literacy challenges.
Key Details:
- Caseload consisting of approximately 65% pediatrics and 35% adults
- 60% NDIS, 40% private/Medicare
- Clinic-based and occasional school-based (no home visits)
- Collaborate with clients, parents, teachers, colleagues and other professionals associated with your clients
- Large team of 11 Speech Pathologists across 2 clinics
- Typical areas the company supports includes: speech production, oral language, reading, spelling, reading comprehension, written expression, fluency difficulties, pragmatic language and social communication

- A gradual build-up of caseload over a 3-6 month period
- Regular supervision including
- Weekly formal 1:1 face-to-face supervision with a Senior Speech Pathologist as well as adhoc supervision to ensure high quality care
- Weekly group supervision & in-house professional development for the first 3 months
- Fortnightly group supervision & in-house professional development from 3-6 months
- Informal support through our peer buddy program
- Fortnightly staff meetings
- 3 month check in and 12-month performance reviews with clinical managers
- Individual professional development plan
Requirements/Skills
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- SPA membership
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
