Position: Stonemason Fabricators & Installers
Factory Location: Truganina, Melbourne 
Job Type: Full time
Starting Time: ASAP
Schedule: 40 hrs per week
Salary: $40 - $45 per hr plus Super & Overtime

 
Your key duties

• Fabrication and installation of natural and engineered stone on residential and commercial projects
• Cutting, shaping and polishing stone with different types of machinery and hand tools
• Measuring, glueing and manufacturing custom stone products
• Working on custom-designed kitchens and other custom stone projects
• Involvement in all aspects of the fabrication process including glueing, polishing etc
• Installation of stone products on residential and commercial premises as needed
• Packing stone & slabs onto A frames in preparation for delivery
• Following OH&S directions and maintaining a safe working environment

 
What you’ll need to succeed 

• A stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the industry
• Strong understanding of the fabrication process
• Experience with installation of benchtops on commercial & residential sites is highly desirable
• Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and drawings
• Bridge saw & Waterjet experience is a bonus
• Full Australian work Rights
• Valid Driving licence 
• White Card
• Strong attention to detail
