Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Experience:
- Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer leaves with a positive impression of Zambrero.
- Prepare and serve food items according to Zambrero’s recipes and quality standards.
- Engage with customers to provide information about our menu, the "Plate 4 Plate" initiative, and other store offerings.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
Store Operations:
- Assist in the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Monitor and restock inventory as needed, ensuring adequate supplies for daily operations.
- Accurately process transactions, handle cash, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Support new team members through training and mentorship.
Cost & Quality Management:
- Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste while maintaining high food quality.
- Assist in tracking and reporting inventory usage, helping the store meet its cost management targets.
Health & Safety:
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or incidents to the Store Manager promptly.
Key Requirements
Experience:
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Personal Attributes:
- Enthusiasm for food, customer service, and Zambrero’s mission.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative.
- A positive and collaborative attitude.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
- Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid Certificate (desirable).
