Now, we’re looking for a Strategic Planning & Engagement Manager to join our Sydney team and help shape the future direction of Iress.

Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in:
- Leading cross-functional strategic initiatives that drive business growth, innovation, and transformation.
- Delivering critical Board-mandated projects and managing core strategic processes such as Quarterly Business Reviews and Five-Year Planning.
- Shaping our competitive intelligence framework—tracking emerging market trends, uncovering opportunities, and translating insights into action.
- Supporting major growth strategies and special projects that have a real impact on Iress' future success.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders, external partners, and third-party vendors.
- Bringing fresh, outside-in perspectives through competitor analysis, market dynamics evaluation, and strategic risk assessments.
- Working directly with Iress’ CEO, Group Leadership Team, and business unit heads to ensure alignment and insight-driven decision making.
What You Will Bring
- 4–5+ years' experience in a strategy role, ideally from a top-tier consulting firm or in-house corporate strategy team.
- Deep understanding of the financial services industry with domain exposure in wealth management or trading highly beneficial.
- Strong financial modelling and quantitative analysis skills to assess complex business opportunities.
- Expertise in competitor and market intelligence gathering and synthesis.
- A hypothesis-driven mindset with the ability to structure problems, validate ideas analytically, and lead project implementation.
- A natural ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Exceptional communication skills—you know how to craft clear, compelling messages that drive action.
- A self-motivated, low-ego, high-integrity professional with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and deliver under pressure.
