The Role

They have a number of large projects about to enter detailed design phase.  As such, they are seeking a junior to intermediate level Structural Design Engineer to work alongside highly respected senior engineers.

You will have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn and be of the mindset of wanting to be challenged and to fast-track your career.

This is a new position and reflects the investment in the further growth of this very well established team.

The Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Senior and Associate Engineers to deliver a range of build structures from concept design through to construction.

You will have variety in your workload and will be exposed to a range of large-scale projects that includes mid and high-rise, commercial, residential, aged care, health care and schools projects.

As your experience grows, so will your responsibilities and this position has been earmarked for a extensive training, development and progression.

The Requirements

This is a role working in a fast-paced environment that will fast-track your career.  This will suit you if you:

• Have 2 years + experience working for an engineering design consultancy in Australia
• Enjoy the challenge of learning new software and taking on increasing responsibilities
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have experience in the design of concrete buildings that includes floor design, lateral design, column design and foundation designs
• Have full working rights in Australia
