Structural Engineer - Facades

The Role:
As a key member of the structural team, you will apply your expertise in both structural and facade engineering to support a range of projects from early design through to construction. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Development of structural and facade concepts and schematic designs across a range of building projects.
* Undertaking detailed design calculations and leading the preparation of high-quality documentation in line with Australian standards.
* Providing facade-specific input into system selection, detailing, materials, and performance requirements.
* Reviewing technical documentation and peer-checking design outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Collaborating with architects, clients, and consultants to integrate facade systems seamlessly into overall building designs.
* Monitoring project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Coordinating internal resources and deliverables to meet project milestones.
* Conducting on-site inspections and supporting construction teams to ensure successful delivery of facade and structural elements.
* Keeping up to date with facade engineering trends, innovations, and performance standards to bring best-practice thinking to each project.

About You:
To be considered for this role, you will bring:
* At least 3 years' local experience working as a structural engineer, ideally with a strong focus on facade design.
* Relevant engineering qualifications and familiarity with Australian design codes and standards.
* Demonstrated experience working on the structural design of facade elements such as curtain walls, cladding systems, and glazing.
* Strong design and documentation skills, with an eye for detail.
* Excellent communication and coordination capabilities to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
* A collaborative approach and proven ability to manage complex project requirements.
