Structural Revit Drafter/Modeler (BIM) Position

Nsient Consulting Engineers are a growing consulting firm located in Ringwood, in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Nsient have had comprehensive experience in structural design both locally and internationally, and are strongly focussed on providing practical, economical and innovative engineering solutions for our clients. We are keen to expand our modelling team, and we are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals looking to develop their knowledge in structural modelling.

Specialist services provided by Nsient include:

• Residential design, apartment buildings and individual dwellings

• Post-tensioned and reinforced concrete design and construction

• Education

• Commercial design

• Industrial design

The Position

We are looking for a structural Revit Modeler (BIM) for a 6 month contract role on a full-time basis. We seek someone who is positive, enthusiastic, and keen to learn and share knowledge. The successful candidate will work closely with structural engineers and the drafting manager. At Nsient we believe in continuing development for all our staff, we regularly hold training sessions to further enhance our technical skills within our areas of expertise. The role for the successful candidate will include the modelling and documentation of a broad range of projects including residential, commercial, educational and industrial work.

Remuneration package will depend on experience and be negotiated during the interview process.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Australian permanent residency

• Have excellent interpersonal & communication skills (written & verbal)

• Be proficient in 3D modelling.

• Be proficient in Revit, with several year of experience preferred. Please note that we do not model/document in AutoCAD.

• Demonstrate high attention to detail.
