In this high-impact Team Lead role, you’ll be the driving force behind the Supply Chain Team, making sure everything runs smoothly at Allshelter’s Erskine Park distribution hub. You’ll own supplier negotiations, stock sourcing, and ERP management (hello, NetSuite). You’ll be the first point of contact for your team, delegating tasks, ensuring accuracy, and optimising workflows. You’ll also be the go-to for escalations, stepping in before the Supply Chain Manager ever needs to. Hands-on? Absolutely. You’ll be involved in international purchasing and logistics, supporting Allshelter’s global reach while keeping costs tight and quality high. The best part? You’ll work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to make a real impact. What You’ll Do As the Supply Chain Team Lead, you’ll be both strategic and hands-on, sourcing inventory and non-inventory items, keeping stock levels in check, and sticking to budgets. You’ll lead the team in maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, expediting orders, and managing quality issues before they impact production. Around 40% of your role will focus on managing NetSuite, keeping data accurate, processing work orders, and generating reports. But don’t stress, there’s solid support staff both on and offsite to back you up. You You’re well versed in the supply chain industry, with at least 5 years of experience in purchasing roles. You might also consider yourself a natural leader. You often find yourself leadership roles and know how to effectively delegate and design smart workflows that keep things humming along. Don’t worry, you won’t have any direct reports, so no formal management experience is needed. You’re also a problem solver and proactive. You don’t sit around waiting to be told what to do. You’re a driven individual who just gets stuck in. And when issues arise, you’re ready to be the go-to. It would be the cherry on top if your background’s in manufacturing, and you’ve worked with BOMs (Bill of Materials). But if not, no stress, it’s not essential.
