Support Services Worker - Cleaning/Laundry

About the role:

St John's Home for Men located in Toowong is seeking casual Support Service Workers (Cleaning and Laundry) to work across both Laundry and Cleaning. The overall purpose of the cleaning position is to provide high quality cleaning services in rostered areas of the facility. The overall purpose of the laundry position is to provide safe, high quality and efficient laundering services for residents in order to meet regulatory compliance and resident satisfaction.

This role is a casual position, we are ideally looking for 2 people who can work shifts from 6:30am-2pm and 12pm-6pm on weekdays and 7am-3pm and 12pm-6pm on weekends.

Role Requirements:

• Current National Police Check
• Current Flu Vaccination Certificate
• Current Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance - as required
• Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) or similar (desirable)
• Certificate II or III in Asset Management (Laundry Operations) or relevant (desirable)
• Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster including working on weekends and public holidays as required
