About the role:
St John's Home for Men located in Toowong is seeking a casual Support Services Worker (Kitchen) to assist the cook/chef in the preparation and serving of meals for residents. This role is also responsible for the cleaning of designated kitchen utensils and areas, in accordance with the prescribed cleaning schedule. The Support Services Worker (Kitchen) role, in conjunction with other roles in the facility, encourages physical and social independence, supports a safe home-like environment and safeguards the dignity and privacy of residents.

This role is a casual position, we are looking for someone who can work shifts from 1pm-7pm.

About you:

• Current National Police Check
• Current Flu Vaccination Certificate
• Current Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance - as required
• Certificate II in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) or relevant (desirable)
• Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster including working on weekends and public holidays as required.
