About the Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our field survey team as a Survey Assistant. In this role, you’ll assist field surveyors on a variety of design, construction, cadastral, and 3D scanning projects. Through hands-on training and mentorship, you’ll gain a broad understanding of surveying best practices and develop the skills needed to advance your career.

Your Responsibilities

As a Survey Assistant, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Preparing project sites and handling survey equipment and pegs.
• Setting up instruments, GPS units, and 3D scanning equipment.
• Assisting surveyors with fieldwork, including marking points, lines, and offsets with pegs and spray paint.
• Collecting and managing field data under the surveyor’s guidance.
• Setting up and running 3D scans, processing data, and adhering to company QA processes.
• Performing repair work on survey markings as needed.
• Maintaining and stocking vehicles with equipment and supplies.
• Learning and applying industry guidelines and best practices to fieldwork.

• A valid driver’s license.
• A General Construction Induction Card (or be willing to obtain one).
