Join HR Surveyors, an industry leader in precision surveying solutions, powering Australia’s roads, bridges, pipelines, and buildings with accuracy and innovation.

We are seeking a dedicated Surveyor to join our team on a full-time basis (38 hours/week).

About the Role:
As a Surveyor, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality surveying services across critical engineering projects. Reporting to a Survey Manager, you will execute precise fieldwork and office computations, ensuring technical excellence and project success.

Job Responsibilities:

Surveying & Project Execution

  • Perform detailed setouts for structures, utilities, and earthworks based on design specifications.
  • Conduct feature surveys, volume calculations, conformance reporting, and establish survey control points.
  • Plan daily survey tasks to meet project timelines with minimal supervision.
  • Capture and process field data using state-of-the-art surveying equipment and software.

Office-Based Computations

  • Draft accurate survey drawings and engineering plans.
  • Generate survey reports to support design and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain and manage complete, high-integrity survey records.

Equipment & Vehicle Management

  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate advanced survey equipment.
  • Maintain the condition and servicing of company vehicles and survey assets.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Adhere strictly to OH&S standards, completing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) as required.
  • Uphold quality assurance protocols, contributing to HR Surveyors' reputation for safety-first project delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Technical proficiency in surveying principles, computations, and data processing.
  • Strong command of surveying software (AutoCAD, 12d Model, Trimble Business Center).
  • Ability to work independently and within structured project teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and problem-solving capability.
  • Commitment to OH&S, quality assurance, and professional standards.
