ABOUT THE ROLE (SWIM TEACHER)


Saltwater Swim Schools in Mt Duneed is looking for reliable, passionate and enthusiastic Learn to Swim teachers to join our family run swim school. 

This brand-new state of the art facility will open in July 2025 with positions available for both Qualified and Newly Trained staff.


As a Swim Teacher you will be developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skills in school aged children, combining stroke development with water safety and enhancing the overall confidence and ability of your students.

Key Responsibilities
• Follow our inhouse lesson plans while showing us your personality and flare through execution
• Recommend students for level progression as appropriate
• Provide excellent customer service to parents and students alike
• Be motivated and committed to perform to a high standard each shift
• Be friendly, polite, and approachable at all times within our facility


WHAT YOU NEED
To be successful in this role you will have:
• A passion to teach children of all ages and foster a positive learning environment
• An ability to work well in a team and contribute to the open exchange of ideas and discussion
• A self-motivated and customer-oriented attitude
• ASCTA or AUSTSWIM Qualification (TSW - SISSS00132) – (we will guide you on how to best obtain this qualification)
• Current CPR Certification – (can be provided on-site before commencement of your employment)
• Valid Working with Children checks (or willingness to obtain)

• 2 + years teaching experience
• Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics
• Teacher of Aquatics – Access and Inclusion
• Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes
• Teacher of Adults
• First Aid

Our swim school offers lessons for clients from 6 months of age through to adults with classes conducted 7 days a week.
