Milestone IT is thrilled to partner with a valued client to find a highly capable Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who brings a strong foundation in core Microsoft services and a desire to contribute to a sophisticated IT environment.

What You'll Bring:

• Mastery of Active Directory (AD): A higher level of understanding is crucial. You'll be comfortable with complex AD structures, GPO management, security best practices, and troubleshooting intricate AD-related issues.
• Exchange Expertise: You possess proven proficiency in Microsoft Exchange Server, including configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and best practices for email infrastructure.
• Server and Datacentre Acumen: Your background includes hands-on experience with server hardware, operating systems, and ideally, exposure to datacentre environments and related technologies.
• Advanced M365 and Entra ID Knowledge: You have a deep understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite, including its various services, and are highly proficient in managing and leveraging Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for identity and access management.

In this role, you might be:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining core Microsoft infrastructure services.
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues across AD, Exchange, M365, and server environments.
• Contributing to the management and optimization of server and potentially datacentre infrastructure.
• Implementing and enforcing security best practices across all relevant systems.
• Collaborating with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.
