Taxation & Business Services Accountant - Intermediate or Senior

The Firm

A celebrated Mackay based practice with strong roots within the public practice accounting profession is seeking either an in-house/hybrid/remote Senior Accountant to join their growing business services & taxation team. 

The Role

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for all entities (excluding SMSFs).

• ATO liaison. 

• BAS + IAS preparation.

• Regularly communicate with clients from various industries. 

• Collaborate with Manager's and Partner's to ensure client needs are met.

Requirements

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you should have:

• 2+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm.

• Ideally CA/CPA qualified.

• Expertise in producing financial statements and tax returns for all entities (no SMSF exp req)

• Proficiency in Division 7A, CGT, and FBT matters.

• Strong communication skills.

• Proficiency in cloud-based software.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
