ABOUT THE ROLE

As the MOB Academy continues to grow and upscale, we are seeking a dynamic and passionate teachers to join our tribe to teach across a range of secondary cohorts.

This is a great opportunity to become part of a school that is actively evolving and shaping the future for young men in our community.

Thrive in an environment where creativity and innovation are not just encouraged, but celebrated. Design and deliver engaging lessons both in the classroom and beyond, making the most of our unique location right by the Broadwater.

 As a well-rounded teacher you will be required to teach across multiple areas, specifically:

• QCAA Applied Subject – Sport and Recreation as well as Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics, and Recreation

• QCAA Applied Subject – Social and Community Studies and Short Course in Literacy

• QCAA Applied Subject – Essential Mathematics

• Delivering engaging lessons across Essential Mathematics, Social and Community Studies, Sport and Recreation, Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation, and Short Course Literacy.

• Developing and implementing teaching and learning programs that meet QCAA and VET requirements.

• Identifying individual learning needs and applying differentiated teaching strategies.

• Creating authentic and inspiring learning experiences tailored to student strengths.

• Actively participating in Academy life including events, excursions, sporting activities, and community engagement.

• Maintaining current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.

You will be more than a teacher — you will be a mentor, a role model, and an integral part of a movement committed to making a difference.

This position is an immediate start.

Student days are Monday to Thursday, with Fridays being student free day.
