About the role
The School is seeking a highly qualified and passionate Teacher Librarian (Primary) for the new Junior School.
Reporting to the Head of Junior School, the Teacher Librarian is responsible for the daily management of the library’s operations. The Teacher Librarian will collaborate with the Head of Junior School and classroom teachers to effectively integrate and deliver library services that align with curriculum learning outcomes and address the diverse needs of students, helping them to become independent users of library resources.
In addition, the Teacher Librarian will develop and implement a Library Management System along with other library-specific applications.
The Teacher Librarian will be allocated a 0.4 FTE teaching load shared across Years 5 and 6.
Our new Teacher Librarian will join BGGS in Term 1, 2026.
