We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to oversee the design, development, and delivery of software solutions leveraging modern technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and AWS Cloud services. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance technical expertise with team management and client-facing delivery responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, distributed systems and microservices-based solutions.
  • Manage technical execution, timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, DevOps, QA, and product stakeholders.
  • Guide and mentor a team of Java/Spring Boot/Kafka/AWS developers and engineers.
  • Make architecture and design decisions aligned with industry best practices and enterprise standards.
  • Ensure code quality, security, scalability, and performance of delivered systems.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Conduct regular status updates, demos, and design reviews.
  • Work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience leading delivery of enterprise applications.
  • Strong programming background in Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of Kafka for event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including but not limited to EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation/Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills. 

Desired Skills/Experience

  • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Developer).
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK stack, CloudWatch).
  • Exposure to data platforms or streaming analytics is a plus.
  • Banking, Capital Markets or related experience highly regarded.
