Technical Officer - AME

ALG has a great opportunity for a Technical Officer - AME to join a well-established commercial organisation based at Mascot Airport working in their component maintenance shop. The position will give the successful candidate the chance to get hands on exposure and the opportunity to work in a busy environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience component experience and have a sound understanding of the supply chain process. This role has a Monday to Friday shift pattern with opportunity for OT.

This successful candidate is expected to go permanent with our client within 6-12 months of starting.
To be considered, you will require the following:

• Aviation trade certificate.
• 24 months of experience working in a component environment (critical).
• Intermediate IT skills.
• Experience in analysing supply chain stock levels.
• Prior experience placing purchase orders with suppliers.
• Strong aptitude for technical and compliance related work.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and adhere to all safety requirements.
• High levels of attention to detail.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to undergo a full security clearance process.
• Willingness to undergo Drug and Alcohol testing.

The successful candidate will receive:

• Hourly pay rate of $50.50 + Super
• Exposure to working with a leading airline.
• OJT training.
• Monday to Friday (Day shift) work roster (consistent hours).
• No end date in the contract.
• Ability to convert to a permanent role with our client.
