Due to ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Wetherill Park. This role would be suited to a qualified tradesperson looking to step into a Customer Service and Sales role whilst remaining, hands-on and working with our existing customers and team in the Branch.

The successful applicant will use their strong understanding of automotive paint products to become an integral part of our sales and customer service team, and a key support to the Branch Manager in the day-to-day operations. Our growing business has many opportunities for career advancement through nationally recognised training and pathways into sales, technical support or branch management.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role requires the applicant to have a strong work ethic to ensure prompt, accurate, efficient customer service, good stock control, support to the Customers, and internal stakeholders.

The role involves the following responsibilities: -

• Maintain a high level of Customer service in over-the-counter sales, electronically and by phone

• Providing internal technical customer service to the Sales Team regarding automotive paint and consumable products

• Ensuring Orders are processed accurately and despatched efficiently

• Comply with all WH&S policies and procedures

• Assisting with technical paint and coating queries to find the right solution for the Customer.

• Mixing and tinting of paint

• Supporting queries relating to mixing paint and colour selection software

To be eligible for this position you must be punctual, willing to learn, flexible with your day-to-day duties, and must have the following:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the automotive refinish industry

• Be a problem solver

• Communicate clearly

• The ability to work individually and as part of a team

• Have a positive attitude

• Ability to follow directions and instruction

• Attention to detail
