Task & Responsibilities

The main tasks within your role are:

Planning and Designing of Telecom devices, network structures such as Copper, Fiber and HFC.
Read and interpret fiber/telecommunication blueprints
Providing technical support with network troubleshooting and finding the best temporary and permanent in-field solutions.
Some onsite field work may be required to install hardware.
Liaising with high level stakeholders, vendors and suppliers.
Maintaining, repairing and diagnosing malfunctions of telemetry devices.
Home automation and telecommunications network infrastructure installation
Internet service/NBN installation.

Qualification & Experience

At least an Advanced Diploma of Telecommunications Network Engineering;
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field may be of benefit
Ideally 2 years of experience as a Telecommunications Network Planner
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
