The Freedom Hub - Parramatta Volunteers

Volunteer Opportunities include:

**Fundraising and Advocacy team:**
- Creating, hosting and supporting the running of events
- Hosting The Freedom Hub stalls at events and conferences
- Representing The Freedom Hub in community environments
- Developing strategies to increase local knowledge in Queensland

**Educational Coaches:**
- Coach individuals with the goal of rebuild the lives of people who have experienced slavery in Australia
- Attend gathering events to build relationships
- Course teaching including ESL, budgeting, life skills

**Operations:**
- Assist with the weekly operations of The Freedom Hub
- Research fundraising and community engagement opportunities
- Grant Writing
- Communications

** Time Required **
Volunteers at The Freedom Hub vary according to their areas of activity. Educational Coaches are involved in weekly classes during the school term. Other volunteers are involved in one off events and a team meeting monthly.

Volunteers will be provided with training in trauma informed care and , ongoing support as a volunteer.
