About the role

We are seeking an experienced Towing Depot Dispatcher/Manager to join our team at Box Hill Towing in Box Hill North, VIC. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our towing depot, including dispatching tow trucks, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate and dispatch tow trucks to respond to callouts in a timely manner

• Manage and schedule tow truck drivers and other depot staff

• Liaise with customers to provide updates on job status and answer enquiries

• Maintain detailed records vehicle maintenance and servicing.

• Ensure the depot operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards

• Identify opportunities to improve depot efficiency and make recommendations to management

• Support the overall operations and growth of the Box Hill Towing business

What we're looking for

• Several years of experience in a towing or road transport dispatch/operations role

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage a fast-paced depot environment

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Sound knowledge of towing industry regulations and safety requirements

• Proficient in using dispatch and fleet management software

• Ability to lead and motivate a team of tow truck drivers and depot staff

• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and requirements
