Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth or Busselton
Fortescue is seeking a dynamic and passionate Trainer and Assessor with a strong understanding of Mining operations to join our Eliwana training Team.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Mining Operations Training and AssessingDelivery of FMG Specific Training and Assessments including Verification of Competency AssessmentsFacilitation of classroom-based Training and InductionsAbility to demonstrate initiative and work without supervisionWell organised and excellent time management skills with strong attention to details skillsHands on approach to teamwork, positive attitude and superior customer service skills are essentialAdministrative and scheduling duties as required
Qualifications And Experience
Current Certificate IV Workplace Training and AssessmentPrevious comparable equipment experienceSound knowledge and understanding of Mining practices and technical systems with the ability to train content in a professional mannerAutonomous Haulage System experience (preferred but not essential)Experienced Operator on the following equipment is essential
Production ExcavatorsProduction LoadersDozersGradersMechanical/ Electric Haul trucksSupport Ancillary Equipment
Intermediate/Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suiteSuccessFactors experience highly regarded
