We provide an automated superannuation administration service to the superannuation industry. The Iress superannuation administration platform is an integrated and automated solution leveraging software to maximise automation and reduce manual handling.
As Operations Transaction Analyst you will report to the Manager – Client Administration Services and will be responsible and skilled in analysing, investigating, monitoring transactions in compliance with AML/CTF regulatory obligations and adherence to reporting obligations. Being able to drive operational performance, KPI and SLA achievement, people engagement and fostering a culture of compliance are key pillars to success in this role.
You will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders advancing the ongoing development of AML/CTF programs and underlying processes supporting all of our superannuation administration clients and internal stakeholders.
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
  • Operational execution of critical AML/CTF processes and activities including transaction monitoring and Restricted Territories monitoring, Sanctions & Political Exposed Persons identification and monitoring.
  • Prepare monthly Operational Reports for Superannuation Trustees and internal Leadership Team.
  • Analyse customer activity and transactions to identify money laundering activities, including unusual or suspicious patterns.
  • Complete Suspicious Matter Reports and report findings as required.
  • Identify and escalate potential high-risk customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of any AML investigations and transactions.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve current AML practises.

What you will bring:
  • Previous experience in a similar AML role, or a fund administrator or operations analyst within the superannuation, banking or financial services sector.
  • A proven record in AML transaction monitoring or analysis.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of AML reporting obligations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A desire to leverage technology in the delivery of efficient work practices
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • You will be a quick learner with a “can do attitude”
  • Excellent time management, with a high level of attention to details and accuracy.
