Lindsay Transport is currently seeking a Road Transport Refrigeration Mechanic to join the workshop team based in our Sydney Depot on a full-time basis. About Lindsay Transport:

About the role:
Our Sydney workshop is currently seeking a trade qualified Mechanic with expertise in Transport Refrigeration. The position is a full-time role involving hands on work in our workshop operating on trailer-based refrigeration units.
Duties you can expect with this role include:
- Service, Maintenance & repairs of transport refrigeration units.
- Carry out repairs to the refrigeration and diesel components of the unit.
- Check & ensure units are operating correctly before leaving the depot.
- Carry out repairs and servicing in line with Lindsay Transport’s maintenance plan.
- Fill out paperwork and update service records as required for work carried out.
- Work onsite at our Sydney Depot or customer sites as required.
- Ability to work unsupervised or as a part of our existing team when at the workshop
About the requirements: The candidates we are looking for will have:
- Trade qualified Light or Heavy Vehicle background.
- ARC refrigerant handling license (can assist in obtaining for the right applicant).
- Clear and competent communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.
- In-depth knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems and their components.
- Demonstrated ability to fault find, dissemble, repair and reassemble.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety (essential).
- Thermo-King experience highly regarded.
- Own basic tools (specialist tools are provided) (tool allowance paid)
