Truck Driver - MR or HR

We're seeking a Truck Driver with a minimum MR licence to deliver chicken and egg products to businesses in Southeast Queensland. 

About the role

This is a casual position, with the opportunity for permanent employment upon successful completion of the probation period. Shifts commence between 2.30am to 4.30am, working a full day (9 - 10 hours) Monday to Friday. This position would join the small team based at Beerburrum.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Current Qld MR or HR Drivers Licence

• Experience operating MR or HR truck

• Forklift ticket desirable

• Experience in loading and unloading products from trucks in a safe manner

Applicants should demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

• Customer focused and good communication skills

• Good manual handling technique with experience in loading and unloading products from a truck and delivering to businesses

• Adhere to company policy & procedures and produce neat and tidy paperwork

• Able to work in cold environments

• Have great attention to detail

• Be 100% drug and alcohol free and be prepared to undertake random screening

• Have own transport to and from work

• Keep equipment clean and tidy at all times and take pride in presentation.

• Possession of forklift ticket advantageous.
