About the role

The Video Factory is seeking an experienced TV-AV & Appliance Technician to join our team in Southport, Queensland. As a full-time technician, you will be responsible for providing expert repair and maintenance services for a wide range of televisions, audio-visual equipment, and home appliances. What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and repair faults in televisions, audio-visual systems, and home appliances
• Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients, quoting repair costs, and arranging timely pickups and deliveries
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to enhance your expertise
• Collaborate with the wider team to improve operational efficiency and workflow
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace to support a professional work environment

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a TV-AV & Appliance Technician
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair a variety of electronics and appliances
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of TVs, audio systems, and home appliances
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to transport equipment as needed
