Ventilation Engineer

Our Client, Howden Ventsim Pty Ltd, a leading provider of ventilation modelling and engineering services to the mining industry, is seeking a qualified and motivated Ventilation Engineer to join their Brisbane-based team.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of mine ventilation technology, contributing to major underground mining projects across Australia and internationally. Tasks & responsibilities

• Conduct ventilation modelling using Ventsim™ and other industry-standard tools
• Perform on-site ventilation surveys and assessments
• Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations
• Collaborate with clients to provide ventilation design solutions
• Support project planning, implementation, and optimisation
• Travel regularly to mine sites across Australia and overseas

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering (or related discipline) – essential
• 3–5 years of relevant mine ventilation experience – preferred
• Proficiency with Ventsim™ software – desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
• Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently and work on site
