The Site
WaterMarc Banyule, the largest aquatic and leisure facility in Victoria's northern region. This multi-activity regional facility serves the Greensborough community and surrounding suburbs. Facilities include an indoor 50-metre Olympic swimming pool, Learn to Swim pool. spa, sauna and steam room facilities and waterslide. Additional facilities include personal training, pool parties, childcare and a Health Link Café.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Business Operations Manager, the Venue Manager for WaterMarc Banyule will be fully accountable for the Centre’s operational, financial and program deliverables while delivering and driving exceptional customer service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Venue Manager to lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experience at this large facility. Responsible for the management of this fantastic facility, the team at the Centre and our local community, you are fully accountable for the Centre’s operational, financial and program deliverables.
As the Venue Manager for Watermarc Banyule, you will be required to identify, engage and collaborate with a network of key community members and groups that can assist in the implementation of aquatic programs that will enhance social capital.
You will identify local community needs and deliver programs for those within the disability, diversity and disadvantaged space. You will also be required to deliver a fundraising strategy for the Belgravia Foundation, with all funds providing programs, services and education that promote access to leisure within the Banyule City Council
