With an exceptional online channel and rapidly expanding retail network – this is one of those rare roles we occasionally get our hands on – you will drive the VM strategy and standards for this brand as they continue their global expansion in a hands on strategic and operational role. The Role | You will be the ultimate Brand Ambassador – ensuring visual standards meet their impeccable standards and you will ensure consistency, quality, and optimisation of the visual merchandising implementation in the network. You will partner closely with the retail teams, regional stakeholders and HQ departments (merchandising, product and brand teams) to ensure the brand vision and campaigns are executed whilst owning the strategy for visual merchandising in the whole market. You will ensure the brand communicates their messaging powerfully through well executed VM plans, and that community is front of mind. This role is equal parts based in HQ as it is travelling to stores, and with multiple store openings planned across AU/NZ you will be a key leader in their retail expansion. Deliver the national strategy for Visual Merchandise - including in-store execution of marketing and special eventsAligning with the product, design and merchandising teams, responsible for creating in-store presentation guidelines and strategy from category placement to in-store signage hierarchyResponsible for all in-store signage merchandisingManage the retail activations strategy on all key moments in-store - i.e. store events, community events, brand moments and big moment call outs Manage the visual presentation for all new store openingsAttend all new store openings to manage the visual merchandising strategyManage visual presentations in each store through coaching Head CoachesManages VM budgets and spend across department Manage strong execution of creative campaigns through in-store displays and product presentationDevelop training initiatives to develop VM skills at regional and store levelWorking with the Merchandising Team to create monthly window inspiration and outfits The Skillset | 7-10 years' experience in merchandising, visual display, styling in a multi-site capacity Solid background within Visual Merchandise and implementation of creative direction, ideally within retail environment Have a tertiary qualification in Visual Merchandising &/or Retailing Have demonstrated experience in developing and coaching a team Have experience with local vendor sources for display supplies, hardware, props, furniture, flowers Ability to work with a variety of people, present ideas and information to groups Have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.) as well as visual merchandising tools including Adobe Creative Suite Have experience with window execution The Offer | Based in either Gold Coast or Brisbane, three days from the office and two days WFHExceptional remuneration package in line with experience levels.
