Businessplex is an Australian RTO (RTO ID: 45725) offering accredited qualifications under the Self-Employment Assistance program, including Certificate III & IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business, Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement), and Diploma of Quality Auditing. Funded by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, this program assists unemployed, underemployed, and micro-business owners in pursuing self-employment opportunities.

 

We are seeking a motivated Vocational Education Teacher with relevant experience to join our team. The role is based in Morley, covering the surrounding Perth North suburbs, to provide classroom, online, and hybrid training, as well as mentoring, for eligible businesses and students.

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

·         At least one year of teaching experience is essential.

·         Must hold either the TAE40122 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or have a suitable combination of equivalent units.

·         Participation in the SEA program is preferred but not mandatory.

·         Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with large groups.

·         Competence in IT systems and proficiency in the MS Office suite.

·         Valid WA driver's license

 

Tasks will include:

·         Consult and assess applicants to determine their suitability for the Self-Employment Assistance (SEA) program.

·         Deliver Certificate III and IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business or any other accredited qualifications under Businessplex scope.

·         Deliver Exploring Self-Employment Workshops covering how to gain a better understanding of what is involved when starting a business, generate and validate business ideas and make an informed decision-non-accredited.

• Respond to student queries and mark written assessments.

• Provide general learning and academic support for online training.

• Participate in assessment validation and moderation activity and provide input into course design and content improvements.

• Participate in annual reviews of learning materials and assessment tools.

 

Responsibilities will include:

·         Ensure compliance with Businessplex policies.

·         Maintain current knowledge and information about the Vocational Education and Training sector.

·         Collaborate with the management team to provide insights into SEA programs.

 

Before recruitment, you must obtain a national police clearance and a working with children check.
