Waitstaff & Barista All Rounder - National Portrait Gallery Canberra

We are recruiting for multiple Waitstaff and Barista All Rounders for the National Portrait Gallery Canberra. This opportunity would suit art lovers who are passionate and experienced in hospitality.

These are casual positions, 15 to 25 hours per week.

The Role

• Provide a high-quality service to guests
• Work as an integral part of the front of house team; running food, making and running drinks, clearing tables and working on the front counter
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with guests, supervisors and staff members
• Assist with on-site functions and events if required

About you

• Passionate about customer service, with a minimum of 6 months experience
• Can carry 3 plates and a tray of drinks/coffee (for waiters)
• A team player who can work independently
• Well presented with a great work ethic and a positive attitude
• Australian work rights
• A current RSA
