Warehouse Assistant

YDL Stone is one of Australia's leading suppliers of benchtop stone surfaces. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our fast and dynamic team with a great culture.

This role is preferably for candidates based in the southern part of Sydney Metro, our warehouse is in Prestons NSW 2170.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate or provide the following:

• Hold a current full NSW Driver Licence
• Hold a current Licence to Perform High Risk Work, forklift.
• Experience operating overhead cranes is preferred but not mandatory.
• Require confidence and competence in using various computer software & mobile APPs, mainly Microsoft Office Word and Excel, CRM, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• “Can-do” attitude
• Able to thrive under pressure
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work within a team
• OH&S focused
• Good physical abilities as some heavy lifting will be required
• Experience operating Overheads Cranes will be highly regarded

Warehouse duty component 

• Manage stock in the warehouse, unloading goods from containers by using forklift 
• Loading good on to truck by using overhead crane (training will provide) 
• Preparing marketing merchandise for sales team
• Assist in keeping the warehouse tidy, organized, and hazard free
• Professional greeting and prioritization of customers
• Operate in a safe manner at all times
