Position Overview:
Our Mission is to succeed in our financial and operational targets through exceptional customer service, which puts this position in as a key role within Stanley Black & Decker ANZ.
To perform a range of warehouse duties which may include but not limited to forklift loading/unloading inwards/outwards goods, picking, packing, receiving of goods, shipping, ordering and storing supplies and inventory. To develop and maintain high level relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

We need to ensure that as the final stage in a customer’s experience of receiving goods from us we meet their expectations. Our ability to do this impacts a customer’s decision making in the future.
C. Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking and Packing
  • Suitably pack and label customer orders to ensure that each consignment is delivered to the customer in first-class condition.
  • Accurately record consignment weights and measurements for all outbound consignments
  • Goods receipting, inspection and put away
  • Stock Management
  • Efficient use of RF scanners
  • Maintaining the quality of goods by ensuring products are not at risk of damage
  • Ensuring all orders are delivered on time, minimising possibility for delay
  • Complete any documentation and checklists as required
  • Review, record and report any discrepancies
  • Unloading and Loading of transport vehicles, containers and other trucks as required
  • Ensure the cleanliness and general good housekeeping of the warehouse, warehouse office and surrounds
D. Other job responsibilities:
  • Cross-train with other departments to enable provision of assistance during high work flow.
  • Conducting unplanned physical counts of inventory.
  • Perform all functions of the role with accuracy and timeliness to meet deadlines.
  • Undertake mathematical calculations with accuracy.
  • Train and guide new or less experienced team members on processes and systems and provide support as required.
  • General housekeeping of the warehouse
  • General filing and administrative tasks as directed by your immediate Manager.
  • Any other task or function as directed by your immediate Manager.
  • Other duties outside this Position description as required to fulfil the role

  • Previous experience in a similar warehouse role
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and under pressure.
  • Ability to perform functions with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Computer Literate with the ability to learn new computer programs.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be accountable and take ownership.
  • Must be courageous and have the confidence to adapt and change
  • A member of one team dedicated to making a positive impact
  • Earns the trust, respect and confidence of stakeholders through integrity and honesty
  • Physical fitness with the ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items within safe lifting weights without injury
  • Be committed to effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse
  • Ability to balance different priorities, meet deadlines and think outside the box when required
  • Adapt to changing business needs, conditions and work responsibilities.
