THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Warehouse Storeman to work within our fast-paced warehouse.

The Warehouse Storeman will work collaboratively with all showroom, warehouse and administrative staff, customers, courier drivers and delivery drivers. 

The position is a full time role which requires availability Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays to 1pm.  A competitive salary will be offered.

The responsibilities of the Warehouse Storeman will include the following.

  • Work collaboratively and pro-actively with General Manager and other warehouse team members to plan and execute warehouse operations including scheduling of daily activities to meet deadlines.
  • Prepare, check and receive orders and  hand/ forklift load and unload of goods as required.
  • Unload containers.
  • Occasional customer site deliveries and collections.
  • Inventory stocktakes.
  • Ensure all stock is appropriately stored.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment in the warehouse and yard.
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Assist in preparing showroom displays.
  • Undertake quality checks of products received.
  • Cutting floor drains, trims and tile samples to requested size.

  • Undertakes all tasks in compliance with legislative requirements and other work safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Drivers license
  • Forklift license
  • Capable of physical work with heavy lifting.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment.
