The Position
Southside Truck Centre is currently seeking applications for a Warranty Clerk / Service Administration to join our Lismore team. We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, exceptional attention to detail, organised team player to join our service department.
This is a Full time Monday-to-Friday role with the position offing outstanding career growth and job security with a strong and growing independent family-owned business. Duties
Warranty
Efficiently and accurately tracking warranty payments within the department.
Reconciling all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
Process and submit warranty claims in a timely manner and in line with warranty policy and procedures.
Compile warranty claim documentation in accordance with Manufacturer guidelines.
Verifying submission criteria required by factory or distributor.
Posting credits into the dealer management system.
Following upon payment of outstanding claims.
Controlling warranty parts by ensuring all parts are tagged with mandatory OEM required information, filing and storing of parts in systematic order.
Service Administration
Manage incoming service requests
Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
Data entry
Liaise with customers to confirm appointments and follow up on service outcomes.
Prepare service reports and assist with invoicing.
Support the Service Manager and Service Advisor with administrative tasks when require.
Selection Criteria
Previous experience in the handling and processing of warranty claims using online systems (preferred, not essential)
Analytical and methodical skills with good computer literacy
Organisational and administration skills gained in service administration environment
Previous experience in dealership and / or truck related industry (preferred, not essential)
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
An understanding of the mechanics of heavy commercial trucks will be highly advantageous
