Waste Industry Drivers - Side arm vehicle

Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste removal and recycling services throughout Australia for over 90 years.   We are continuing to experience growth is our business operations in Perth WA, and are currently looking to recruit a team of drivers to operate Side Arm vehicles (Dual Control) in our upcoming contract in the Joondalup region of Perth.

Experience would be preferred but not essential. 

To be successful in this role you must:

·         have a HR licence as a minimum;

·         have a good driving history (a current driving record will be required to be presented at the interview);

·         be reliable, honest and a team player;

·         be safety conscious and have the ability to adhere to Company OHS policies and best practice;

·         possess good communications skills;

·         have good attention to detail;

·         have a can-do attitude and enthusiasm.         

This is a long term position with penalty rates paid for all overtime, and career progression opportunities for the right drivers.

In accordance with our Company’s recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a  Pre Employment Medical, which includes a drug test.   A current driving history, with a good driving record will also need to be provided.
