Water Blaster - Ultra High Pressure

Tooleys Waterblasting is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Water Blaster, Ultra High Pressure, to join our team based in Portsmith. The ideal candidate will have experience in UHP waterblasting for surface preparation and concrete demolition. Hourly rate is variable depending on experience in the industry. Position is casual with the opportunity to become full-time. This is a local position, not FIFO.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and maintain ultra-high pressure water blasting equipment to blast a variety of surfaces and structures
• Ensure equipment is in good working condition and perform routine maintenance as required
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself and others on the job site
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials as needed
• Various other tasks required to perform job specifics.

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years' experience operating ultra-high pressure water blasting equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment
• Excellent safety awareness and the ability to follow protocols 
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for our customers
• Current driver's licence and your own reliable transport
• High Pressure Water Blasting Operator Ticket
• Vacuum truck experience preferred
• Confined Space Entry certificate preferred
• Working at Heights certificate preferred
• Truck License preferred
• Please note that this is a labour intensive role. This position requires someone who is physically fit and willing to work hard in our tropical environment.
