PNAH Pty Ltd, trading as Steelbot Fabrications, is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our team in Wallan, VIC. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to technical specifications, ensuring high-quality and safe outcomes.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications
- Select and prepare appropriate metal materials for fabrication
- Cut metal components using hand tools, oxy-acetylene torches, and metal-cutting machinery
- Shape and bend metal sections and piping using both manual and powered tools, including heat-forming techniques
- Accurately align components for assembly using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Weld metal parts using a variety of welding techniques, and secure assemblies with bolts or rivets when required
- Inspect completed welds to ensure proper penetration, bead width, and accuracy
- Perform finishing tasks including cleaning, polishing, filing, and chemical treatments to meet project standards
- Smooth and clean welds using grinders, chisels, and files for a refined finish
Qualifications & experience
1–2 years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience
Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or relevant/equivalent qualification
Sound understanding of welding safety and workshop procedures
