Our client is a leading provider of quality products used in the aerospace, defence and manufacturing industry.

About the Role

Within this role you will be responsible for the welding and fabrication of various metal components. This role is full-time hours Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm, with a 1:00pm finish on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

– Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
– Measuring and cutting metal components using a range of hand and power tools and machines
– MIG welding techniques to join metal components together
– Set up and maintain welding equipment
– Quality assurance processes including weld inspection and testing to ensure specifications are met
– Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Key Requirements

– Relevant trade qualification (highly desired).
– Confident MIG welding skills
– Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
– Attention to detail
– Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously from time to time
