Be Doing As a Welder (First Class), you’ll be entrusted with precision welding on custom automotive components, focusing on strength, finish, and fit. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

1. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specs, and component diagrams 2. Performing MIG and TIG welding on high-strength steel, stainless steel, and alloy components 3. Fabricating, modifying, and assembling parts for differentials, housings, suspension arms, and brackets

4. Conducting quality checks to ensure structural integrity, weld penetration, and finish 5. Operating and maintaining workshop equipment including grinders, jigs, presses, and measuring tools 6. Preparing surfaces for welding, cutting materials to exact measurements, and handling alignments

7. Collaborating with technicians to resolve technical challenges and fine-tune components 8. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, following strict safety protocols What

You’ll Bring 1. Trade qualification in Fabrication/Welding or equivalent (Certificate III or above). 2. At least 1-2 years of hands-on welding experience, ideally in a high-precision or automotive fabrication environment

3. Strong proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques, with the ability to weld across various thicknesses and metals 4. Proven ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and fabrication specs 5. High attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work

6. A strong understanding of safety standards and workshop best practices 7. Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude Apply
